PrintFactory presents EcoSave as a mode in the Calibrator Desktop application. Its published material says smart profile creation supports reliable color reproduction across devices and substrates while delivering average ink savings of 20–30%.
The aim is not simply to reduce total ink. The profile is intended to protect grey balance, neutral colors, highlight and shadow detail, and the visual match between printers.
A trial should print the same representative jobs with comparable settings, measure actual consumption, and verify color on the same printer, ink set, substrate, and profile.
